April 5, 2023. Lobbyist Frédéric Baldan files a criminal complaint with the Liège examining magistrate Frédéric Frenay. In an unprecedented move, the complaint was brought against the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. The charges? Corruption, illegal taking of interest, destruction of administrative documents and usurpation of titles and functions. At issue is a secret text negotiation between the President and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla. At stake were the right to transparency and the 35.1 billion euros offered to Pfizer on a platter (SMSgate / Pfizergate).

Whilst he demanded that the commissioners be suspended for violating their code of conduct, it was the von der Leyen Commission that ended up cancelling Frédéric's lobbyist accreditation. An obvious retaliation against the EU directive that protects whistleblowers—in theory.  

Why does the von der Leyen Commission stubbornly refuse to make these contracts public? Who are the main lobbies behind the COVID crisis? How have they infiltrated the institutions? What is their aim? How was Ursula von der Leyen compromised? What happened to our health data and our basic human rights in the face of this crisis?

In the words of the author himself, this book highlights elements that the Judicial Police did not have the means to identify by itself. Notably, he reveals the name of the major lobbying firm that “sold” the Gulf War and was commissioned by Pfizer to misrepresent the science.
